Description: Kaltenberg Spezial is brewed at the Mykulyntsi Brewery in cooperation with German brewers under the license of His Royal Highness Prince Luitpold of Bavaria. This beer is produced in accordance with the “Beer Purity Law” issued in 1516 by Wilhelm IV, Duke of Bavaria, requiring beer to be brewed only from malt, water, and hops. For centuries, the Bavarian royal family has been dedicated to preserving brewing traditions and quality standards. Prince Luitpold of Bavaria continues this heritage, following traditional methods and family recipes, producing royal Bavarian beer at Kaltenberg Castle. His family has been involved in brewing since 1260 and historically ruled Bavaria for 738 years.
Kaltenberg Brewery in Bavaria is considered the birthplace of royal Bavarian beer. The castle is also the residence of Prince Luitpold, who personally oversees beer quality. Kaltenberg beer brewed in Mykulyntsi follows German standards and fully corresponds to the qualities of royal Bavarian beer. It has a golden colour with a fine, creamy foam, a clean slightly yeasty full-bodied taste, and a short finish without residual bitterness.
